i dont understand why everyone hated this interview!! i thought it was a powerful piece!!! i loved ron paul before this interview and i didnt think it could be possible, but i love him even more now! this guy loves america, has the answers and solutions to put this country back on track and when he told piers, why dont the brits send their kids over there to die, i almost cried!!!! he loves us soooo so much and i honestly believe who ever watches this interview they will have a new found respect for ron paul after that STATEMENT! ?!? He starts it with 'Ron Paul will not be our next President.' Then asks why young people follow him so closely, and they show Paul's first response talking about drug policy. OMG WHY AREN'T YOU GUYS PISSED!? THIS WAS A HORRIBLE INTERVIEW! Then Paul corrected the quote about wiping Israel off the map, and Piers asked are you really defending Iran's President?! Wake up guys we should be pissed, storm CNN and Piers now for this.

The part where he said [extreme paraphrase] "If someone robs a bank, you don't celebrate because he was successful!" was the highlight of my night.

I love how Ron Paul handled this, but Piers is a HORRIBLE interviewer! I mean, he cut to commercial every 8 mins or so, CONTINUOUSLY INTERRUPTED each of Ron Paul's answers, attempted to discredit his answers by arguing, and to add a little ugly cherry on top, only 0:04 seconds in, he's saying "He's not going to be president."

WHY!?

I'm not one to believe much conspiracy theories against him, but.. Seriously, what's with the media bias against him EVERYWHERE I look!? Is there truly a conspiracy, and we have no integrity, or are we fools?

When Piers was badgering him without letting him finish a sentence on foreign policy and Piers first said surely 'since' Iran wanted to destroy Israel Ron would concede the US had to stop them from getting a nuclear weapon and Ron said 'then let the British kids go over there and die.' Then alluded, without using the words to the history that the British were the ones who so badly messed up the situation over there to begin with.

Israel is Britain's mess. Why do we gotta pay for it? Didn't we fight for INDEPENDENCE of the British?

It's also a very witty and discrete insult to Piers that his own people should help Israel if he's so concerned about it.

It's tough-guy moments like those that make me love Ron Paul so much!
