[Video] Ron Paul Interview On Fox News Sunday 01/01/12

You can hear his cold in his voice, still.

Ron feels heterosexual people demanding taxpayers pay for their sexually transmitted deseases are equally victimizing taxpayers. Ron doesn't care if they are gay or not. He just doesn't think taxpayers funding it is the way to go.

that legislative record bit TOTALLY left out Ron getting an audit of the fed that was ENTIRELY his, he had been trying for decades and suddenly last year 320 people cosponsored.

if someone buys private health insurance they are not victimizing anybody.

i don't really understand ron's argument because up until last year the US did not have mandatory coverage.

now we will all be victimized by those with poor health habits...but before...not so much.

I thought Ron did well, he's much better at dealing with morons than I am.

It wasn't about private insurance it was a push to get govt to pay for emergency research over all other research and the discussion was of whether certain groups have special 'rights' and the OVERALL discussion was that rights come to individuals not because you are members of a group, including minority or being an aids patient. All should be treated the same. The book is great. The lines are ridiculous pulled out but there is no excuse for the campaign not having Ron read that passage over, it was in multiple articles Friday and Ron plainly hadn't brushed up on it, so he was putting it in a different context.

ok but neither the newsmen nor ron explained either the question or answer properly then.

i think this will confuse a lot of people.

Hard-hit questions, answered beautifully by Ron Paul!

Odd choice of questions for Fox news, I thought. How many Fox viewers will be outraged that he thought aids victims, like smokers with cancer are frequently 'victims of their own lifestyle' in the 1980s? He doesn't think taxpayers should subsidize ANYONE in a perfect world, but in his actual budget he keeps funding in for health care.

I agree. That is why I said the campaign should have prepared him. It was in a NUMBER of news articles on Friday and Saturday, they should have seen it coming. All he had to do was look at his book and refresh himself on the context. Anyone can read it for free at mises.org

GREAT interview! It was nice to see him laugh at questions that were genuinly laughable! Go figure!

I would love to hear Bauchmann's rebuttle to the request for evidence also!

His argument was that once the house is on fire you can't expect to be entilited to affordable insurance. If you have poor health habits expect to pay higher premiums. Just like if you are a lousy driver expect to pay higher auto insurance.

Both Ron and Rand did very well this morning. I am quite pleased. :D

Did he kinda chuckle when Wallace said Bachmann would have a chance to answer those questions about Sorensen? Maybe he has a touch of a cold.

Those attacks were so laughably feeble, I almost felt sorry for Wallace. Ron Paul just gets better in these attack interviews.
