[Video] Ron Paul 'End the Fed' on Jeopardy - June 12, 2014

Also be sure to check out Final Jeopardy from the very next day's episode, in the category of Foreign Affairs. If you are a Ron Paul supporter you will probably know the answer, which interestingly none of the other contestants were able to provide... so you can pat yourself on the back and feel real smart. :)

Ha ha! Me too! That guy had a pretty good guess though, but I didn't think of anything except [edited for spoilers].

You're totally right, JCT.

I feel super smart after watching that second one.

*Pats myself on the head and rubs my stomach at the same time*

I rarely ever get Final Jeopardy right, but then to have all 3 contestants get it wrong at the same time I don't think that has ever happened for me before. So I felt pretty smart for the rest of the day, thanks to watching plenty of Ron Paul speeches and interviews where he talks about blowback.

I would have never thought of Zaire, not sure what the reasoning was behind that. None of the answers really made sense to me, and I'm surprised no one came up with the correct answer because the hostage crisis was a major event in the United States in the year 1979, one that you do not need to be an expert historian to be aware of.

Even without the 1979 clue though Iran is the first country that comes to mind when I think of countries for which we pretty much have nonexistent foreign relations and for which we would not have an ambassador.

Zaire doesn't exist any more. I had to look it up to see for sure, but I think that's what he was thinking. And N Korea was a guess. East Germany....she probably was just being born when the wall came down so the dates on that are fuzzy. It seemed like a no brainer to me too, but maybe they're all just younger than I am.
