Ron Paul is getting blasted by some in the media for not coming out strongly against the shooter in this case. Listen for yourself to his statements and draw your own conclusions.

Here is what I think. Ron Paul is his own man who does not bow down to social and media pressure to take sides on a story. He speaks with clarity and patience about not rushing to judgement and waiting until all of the facts are understood.......

That's exactly what I would have hoped he would have said. It's also what I expected him to say. It's really the only intelligent thing one can say.

If only every politician or talking head would take this position on situations like this, there would be a whole lot less bullshit in the world.

I keep looking for one thing that I don't agree with Ron Paul with. Oh well. I need to keep looking because I agree with him about this one too.

He should have at least said he felt sorry for the boys family or for the tragic loss of life no matter who was at fault.

That would have been a nice thing to do. Hey he didn't but I'm sure he felt that way. Ron is a kind hearted, compassionate guy. We all could come up with things we should have said after the fact

Pandering is the act of expressing one's views in accordance with the likes of a group to which one is attempting to appeal.

Saying he feels truley sorry for the familys of this mess isn't pandering. Answering he doesn't have an opinion on the subject was 1000% right on the money. Saying he doesn't wish for loss of life is completley exceptible

It just makes me laugh how anyone out there can criticize that answer!!! What the hell is wrong with people , I don't get it!!

Feeling is also based on one's judgement. Let the court/public to receive all the relevant information first.

Good answer until he said it doesnt look like its gonna be a slam dunk for anyone. That was poorly worded..

From what I remember, he did say that it was a tragedy and he felt bad about it, in a previous interview.
