A really nice video. The only bad part is the tazer kid, but otherwise very well done; professional looking.
Eh, whatever. As an artist myself, I would be flattered.
In my opinion, Intellectual Property rights are invalid. There is no contract between me and the artist when I buy a CD not to share it with others. It's MY property, I bought the damn thing. And to think that a record label or artist has control over an item I purchased and have physical control over is ludicrous.
This thing has over 6,000 diggs!!!
In all honesty, this is one of the few things I did NOT like about the video. What I love about this video is the subtle edits you might not even realise ARE edits. Whereas some videos put a series of clips together in a nice way, this one goes one step further and actually starts manipulating specific clips to make it even cooler.
One example is when ron makes a good point at the debates and it cuts to rudy pulling a disgusted face as if he's conceded the point. Whereas we know that's the shot of him feigning disgust at ron's "absurd statement" on why they attack us. It's SEAMLESS!
Its clever editing for sure, but it wasn't too bad. Its not like it mischaracterized anything Rudy said or anything. Its acceptable. I would chipin to air this on late night TV.In all honesty, this is one of the few things I did NOT like about the video.![]()
We complain about biased media coverage... and then make our own videos that do exactly the same thing, in terms of taking things out of context. Intellectual honesty is the key to this campaign. It should not be compromised.![]()
No you don't really own it. You've licensed it for personal use. If you owned it, you'd have a right to duplicate it and sell your duplicates as if they were an original work. You don't have that right.
A great video! Digg it here:
