If Rand really wants to take votes from Trump, he will have to do a full-court press opposing TTP, TPA, and open borders. Just saying that Trump is a bombastic flip-flopper won't cut it. And Trump hasn't flip-flopped on his two big issues that people like him for -- trade and immigration. Trump was talking about bad trade deals 27 years ago if not earlier.

He supported a brand new, one-time 14.5% tax on the wealthy in the past, and he supports tariff policies that would be a massive de facto tax increase via increased prices.
