I'm about half way through this video and its perfectly clear the interviewer knows nothing. Nothing about history. Nothing about economics. Nothing about conversation. Nothing.
good luck finishing it! i almost made it to minute four.
did anyone intensely cringe at some points of the video?
It was a floor wiping, even neglecting my bias. All Cenk did was admit Schiff was partially right but say he disagreed on some other point. He'd provide no evidence for his disagreement besides poor analogies and "everyone knows" statements. Then when Schiff would respond to the point of contention with evidence.i never thought i would expect Schiff to be on TYT
lol
Schiff totally had Cenk beat in that debate.
Unfortunately, despite being right, I doubt enough individuals in their audience learned anything. Mr. Cenk interrupted Mr. Schiff with just enough pavlovian keywords, like deregulation, to ensure that his viewers felt, as opposed to thought, that Mr. Schiff was either lying or being disingenuous. It was hard to watch. It was a floor wiping, even neglecting my bias. All Cenk did was admit Schiff was partially right but say he disagreed on some other point. He'd provide no evidence for his disagreement besides poor analogies and "everyone knows" statements. Then when Schiff would respond to the point of contention with evidence.
I don't expect Schiff to be invited back for a followup interview.
That guy was trying to be a mini Hannity. I always thought TYT was pro Ron Paul. It did seem like this guy came prepared with spin. Peter needs more debates like this....
When he said regulations were bad but subsidies were good...in my head I was like 'a subsidie IS a regulation'. Then peter said the same thing that I said to myself. He's catchin' on I'm tellin ya!
Sorry for grammar, I'm a little toasty.
just another day of owning libs and idiots in the youtube comments sections..i wonder where these people come from?!
