CAP or no caps? What yall think?

Yeah I have to get it off of the DirecTV receiver's HD-DVR to either one of my laptops/of PCs (20 ft away) the AV wall cabinet loaded with a wired nightmare, but I can remove the DVR unit. don't know how to get this off the DVR unit to my PC (no after market hdmi/video capture board/etc), just standard on-board audio/video connections for laptops and PCs. PM is you have an Idea how to expedite this SW/HW. Damn, I wish I didn't sell my old stuff that had all of the A/V gear in it. (I was planning on up grading to ASUS HDAV soundcard with HDMI connects)

I don't know exactly. She works in an office. It can't be too hard, because she's not one of the more intelligent members of my family.

Intelligence is not required for these jobs. Some of them, yes. Most do not.

There are several members of my family that work these types of jobs, think they are great-and honestly think you suck if you don't have one, and could give two shits that their jobs produce nothing and suck up taxpayer money.

I could make one phone call and start @85k on the local Navy base as a contractor by next Monday. A couple more and I could be in Afghanistan next month for the same company as a contractor for well north of 100k.


No thanks, the brink of poverty isn't as bad as I thought it would be.
