I expect to see thousands of votes for Ron Paul on saturday....from brand new voters + santorum/gingrich voters who want Romney to go to hell.

With the increased media attention on this one county, it may be possible to have a huge turnout, but what are we doing to make sure it's our people that are coming out in large numbers? I haven't been following along with the efforts to win Washington County. Are we organizing any serious GOTV efforts or are we just hoping the locals will take care of it?

Ill stand up for mitt...... this once..... people who are involved in party straw polls (not things like the ames straw poll which is designed to judge a candidates organization) but these smaller ones are designed to tell the party who people will financially support. Yes one person can give 10,000 dollars and win the whole thing... but it shows the party who is able to get people to open the wallets. In this Mitt did win. But in many many other straw polls which are done to judge activism.... we have won. It may still be possible to expose NV and IA, but more importantly let's keep up the pressure to count the votes in public right after all votes are collected going forward. I think many of the games being played will slow down which could give RP enough wiggle room to rind victories in those caucus states. I find it sickening that there are so many people in our society, with supposed credibility going out of their way to rig an election for the likes of Romney and Santorum. I mean I could see it for a movement such as liberty or communism or whatever(not that I would support such antics) but these two clowns stand for nothing but status quo in corporatism.

Right, if they tell us they found another 50 votes for Romney then we know we need 250 votes in Washington Co. If they don't tell us how many they "found" then it can always magically be above what we gain in Washington Co.

You really shouldn't--she is still part of the sewer stream news. The only reason she is pinch-hitting for the home team is because her script tells her so! They are fighting to get Obama to sit at the head of the table for four more years--nothing more.

There is not one bit of difference between the parties--it's all an illusion.

Romney will be the GOP's fall guy, just like McCain was. The GOP will do anything to keep Dr. Paul out, another reason why Gingrich and Santorum are still in the race--it's to dilute the rigged system and keep the appearance that there it isn't rigged.

Obama supporters have a lot to gain by focusing on this. It can make Romney look really bad if he gets the nomination. Or if he doesn't, Santorum is polling high, who presents an even easier target in the general election. We can play along since they don't consider Paul a serious threat.

Every report I have seen from Rachel regarding Paul has been fair. There are a number of people on here who don't like her. The fact that she is gay I think she understands Paul's position on gay marriage as a state issue.

Some will for sure. I hope most do, as it's definitely the most strategic thing they can do.
