I saw this vid going around FB today. Maybe it's been talked about already but I did a quick search and couldnt find it. My personal take on it is that, while the women featured seem to be saying they do not want the govt in their vaginas, they mention 'govt providing access to affordable birth control' and then reference abortion. Okay - but if they want the govt to provide affordable care and continue to allow or fund abortion, then isn't the govt IN their vaginas regardless? It doesnt make much sense to me to say that the govt not wanting to fund this stuff is IN their vaginas - surely that would mean the republicans want OUT of their vaginas? Hello? Okay, if the govt went so far as to ban abortion, then yes they would be back in the ladies' vaginas again, but most of the references in the vid are about funding, and affordable birth control access. THAT would be the govt in their vaginas, would it not? Why can't people see that? If I go to a clinic to get an IUD and I don't have to pay for it - the GOVT put it in there. Right in there. I decided I wanted it, but the govt provided the access so it was the govt's rubber glove that put it there, not me. I would say that's the govt IN my vagina lol... but nope. 99% of the people commenting on the video and sharing it are cheering that they want the govt OUT. um. Okay. But they also want YOUR money to do all that with, collected by and distributed by the Govt. To put in your vagina (or to take something out of it, in the case of abortion).
