Judge is actually short, though. Ron was comparatively short at 5'10" to Romney's 6'2", Santorum's 6'4", and Perry is 6'1", I believe. Pegging Ron at 5'10" might even be generous, using that debate photo.
Notice the debate height? One of the oldest tricks in the political rigging book.

he almost makes up for his treatment of the judge in this segment, but not quite. still...a pretty good take down of feinstein. skip to 1:00.Nice to see John Stewart hold the judge accountable over something that happened 150 years ago, while softballing the daylights out of horrible, wretched human beings the rest of the time.
People really think they 'rigged' the game show? It's a freakin' comedy routine. Nobody cares that much.
The 'black, female' lincoln is one of their regular correspondents used for Lincoln because it would be funny. She's tall sitting next to him to be funny. People get so worked up about nothing sometimes. This was probably just showing that revisionism is silly, based on the flare up from the Walter Block episode. Toms Woods Jr. said that the Judge was right on the returning the slaves issue, but the Judge had claimed that Lincoln *personally* ordered marshals to do so. It's a bit sad, but the Judge is so used to bombast and overstatement that something like that shouldn't be unexpected from him.

haha one of the oldest tricks in the book - appeal to authority. Have a panel of "experts" there to validate all the falsities you utter and it makes it a lot easier to "win" a debate. Stewart is a pretty good debater but someone needs to go on his show and really put him in his place. Schiff could do it but I doubt he'll get that chance now.

And Lincoln wasn't stupid, because even though he towered over most people, he also wore that stupid ass hat too and for the exact same reason: it gave him a huge psychological advantage due to perceived height.

The problem is you can't put a comedian in his place. You can destroy him completely in a debate and he'll just turn it into a joke. And if you handle it poorly, the jokes on you.
It's a lose-lose situation to debate a comedian on his show if he genuinely disagrees with you and wants you too look bad.
