[Video] Jesse Benton ends interview with belligerent Dana Bash

Jesus Christ, it is an internet forum. Go over to a Romney supporter forum and see if they're so well-behaved and well-mannered.

Better question: Is there even such a thing as a goddamned Romney supporter forum with more than 100 members?

A week ago you could've said the same thing about youtube. Look what the media has done with that. Everything we (or people purporting to be us) post will be scrutinized and demonized if they can figure out a way to. It sucks but that's where we're at.

No. NO! FUCKING NO!

What the hell is wrong with you?

This is the kind of stuff we need to stop. Ron Paul supporters: do you really want this to be the image we are presenting to the American public? A bunch of immature brats that rail on peoples' appearances instead of engaging in a more seasoned and intellectual response?

Come on now, it made you laugh at least a little bit.

Which even FURTHER proves my point. That wasn't even a genuine supporter, it was entirely faked and staged! If all they have to do is create a 20124Paul website and have one post on the entire thing that's mildly 'offensive' to some other candidate and then bill it as Paul supporters going wild, what is the point in attacking eachother?

That's right... 'cos there's never any blowback for that approach.

Well I don't think we'd see any "blowback" from a random internet photo of Dana Bash looking like a horse. I'm not saying I approve, but think this through. Do you think CNN is going to pick up on this photo which slams their own correspondent just in the vain hopes that someone will be stupid enough to think that's somehow "official". I sincerely doubt that. Dana is most likely too vain to go with that. And there have been worse mashups of public figures here at RPF, so if that was the case that smear would have already been done.

That said, I think the better approach is what I was originally saying. Mashup a video of Bash saying she's "worried" about Ron Paul "continuing one" and play that against her hack video. Make that go viral. I don't care what Bash looks like. I care about her bias.

I haven't read the entire thread so I don't if this has been stated, but there is a video of her expressing her personal "worry" if Ron were to get elected. After that, and this, I highly suggest that the campaign steer clear of her. We all know by now that the media reports based on their own bias, but this is blatent. She doesn't even pretend to be unbiased. Her coverage is pure yellow journalism.

There's no way that she meant to say she was "worried" that Paul could win. I think it's pretty obvious that she meant to say "and I believe he can win, too." This time... well... she did what the media always does - ask lazy, pointless, stupid questions fishing for drama. It isn't limited to Paul. They do that to every politician. Christ, they do it to every public figure.

HAHA

Maybe Benton called 'em "junk" questions because she looks like a junkie?

Was that video edited "slyly" or was it exactly what Ms. Bash said?

That's not what she meant. She meant "as I am" as in the Republicans she's talking to. Don't overreact on things. There is an obvious hostility in the media, but we can't overreact on every little thing. Otherwise we look bad.

I don't get it. How does "I" mean "the republicans I was talking to"? I don't see how you can construe that to mean anything other than "I am worried..." She said, "many Republicans are worried, AS I AM, that Ron Paul will continue on...

I just don't see how that can mean anything other than she was worried, along with the others. Either way, it was still a crap statement because she was playing the "he's unelectable and will hurt the nominee" card. There is no way you can defend crap like this.

Her CNN blog post afterwards was not too negative, besides her not understanding basic campaign strategy and how it is not worth spending a lot of time, energy, and funds campaigning in Florida, a closed-primary, winner take-all delegates by statewide vote. The grassroots will be able to capitalize on any momentum from NH and SC, and give us a respectable showing.

The reason I want to know about the "as I am" video is, that The Blaze posted an article with 1/2 the story.

If the "as I am" is true and this is true -- then it wouldn't hurt to ask them to include it with the article (that currently looks like Ron Paul walks out a lot)

Real name: Dana Ruth Schwartz

She's married to John King and her ex-husband is chief of staff to Leon Panetta. What's with reporters being "insiders"?

Let the viewers decide.

There is a huge difference. Over 500,000+ Republican voters were invited here by the Superbrochures, to find out more about Ron Paul.

You also must realize that the media is looking for stories to discredit our candidate. They are not doing that with Romney. So, it's only my opinion, but I would think that it is in our own best interest to represent our candidate as best we can.
