[Video] Jesse Benton ends interview with belligerent Dana Bash

Is it just me or does it look like Ron is wearing a bullet proof vest?

Could be. But it's hard to see unter the suit. I served in swiss military and for me they always were way too heavy. Maybe he wears just a knive proof vest. But better for him!

This Dana Bash is annoying me ever since. Good that they stopped the interview!

This is true, but so what? Do you think the media has been that fair and logical throughout the campaign thus far?

Great real; speaking with such hostility against media figures is plain idiotic. You want to exercise your right to 'say whatever we want' when to do so is only hurting our chances at Ron Paul's nomination? Why do you advocate such a ridiculous and counter-productive position?

+1 -- Sometimes, it's not so much what one says it's HOW they say it.
If you disapprove of something, you can say it in a civil manner.
I've been marking as spam some very nasty comments on the YouTube video of this incident.

I just pulled this pic out of a folder randomly of the hundreds of pics I have from many RP rallies from last time around and this time around to make a point. At every one of them RP met, shook hands with and posed for pics with hundreds of supporters for HOURS after the event.

First, they have the balls to even insinuate that Ron is a racist, which would be like calling Newt Gingrich a decent human being, then this hacking nobody has the gall to attempt to slight Ron for dissing a person who wanted to shake his hand.

Booyah, Benton! It's about time. And I dare them to make anything out of his stopping the interview. There's NEVER been a politician who spent as much time with supporters after a speech like Ron Paul... NEVER.

No one has posted anything "hateful" on her Facebook -- just discussing facts there (if you want to check and be sure they're okay -- if you disagree with anything I posted there, I'll be glad to delete it).
Not directed at you, but just wanted to point out that one need not go to her facebook page. Many of the comments on the youtube video will suffice. The anti-semetic comments are particularly offensive. I tried to counter where I could. Why do people resort to these counter-productive tactics. And, NO, they are not all posers.

Edit: BTW, I am suppostive of the walk out. Yes, often this can play right into their hands but, sometimes, enough is enough.

1) Really hope the campaign never grants Bash another interview & does not allow her to feel comfortable if she camps out @ Paul's HQ in NH.

2) Crowds are going to get bigger & bigger & the campaign needs more muscle/people to control situations & the frenzy of the media.

Why do people resort to these counter-productive tactics.
Because they are unable to make an intelligent argument. And they care more about feeling good about themselves than they do about aiding the cause of others.

The sad part is that Paul would never behave that way.

The saddest part is that since we cry wolf about the smallest things, people don't listen if and when we have cause to complain.

Ron Paul supporters desperately need to learn the art of influence and persuasion.

The vicious insults and classless comments will be the greatest obstacle to winning the nomination and then the general election. Read the thread linked in my signature.

Dana just appeared on CNN and aired most of that interview minus Jesse taking it to her, but left in the part where Paul told her it was the media's fault. Very fair surprisingly, they even mentioned Ron Paul's campaign sending out a letter regarding the incident.

Quit interrupting the bashing.

Remember that Dana Bash is the reporter that said that "Republicans are worried, just like I am, that Ron Paul will continue on...."

Someone should make a composite of these two videos.

A reporter should never ever express his/her personal views. It`s against the ground basic rules of the profession. We should blast other networks with this video as it presents perfect proof they`re biased up to their neck.

The campaign has been making a habit of taking the higher ground, but as a human being there is a point to where you have to say "enough is enough" to that kind of foolish badgering (not to mention unprofessional reporting). I completely understand why Benton and Paul reacted like they did after the campaign has been hammered like a railroad spike over the last month or so, and I am glad they are standing up for themselves and keeping their pride in tact. I can see this type happening much more if the media does not start treating Ron at least a little more professionally.

HAHAHA Good to see Jesse on top of these people, about time! It's really the media thats doing Paul the most damage. Those interviews on the newsletters really hurt and it seems CNN is just continuously out for Paul blood. I'm so sick of these shitty reporters that are in the bag so heavily for the status quo (entrenched elites) at this point he should just ban CNN flat out.

Dana Bash just did another thing on it on John king USA, they showed more from the interview but didn't show her getting cut off by Benton.

No. NO! FUCKING NO!

What the hell is wrong with you?

This is the kind of stuff we need to stop. Ron Paul supporters: do you really want this to be the image we are presenting to the American public? A bunch of immature brats that rail on peoples' appearances instead of engaging in a more seasoned and intellectual response?

THIS. RP supporters have a bad enough rap as it is and we know our opponents and the media are browsing these forums.

Jesus Christ, it is an internet forum. Go over to a Romney supporter forum and see if they're so well-behaved and well-mannered.

Better question: Is there even such a thing as a goddamned Romney supporter forum with more than 100 members?
