[Video] Jesse Benton ends interview with belligerent Dana Bash

Wikipedia features a very unflattering picture of Dana Bash:

Hardly, this forum has been complimentary to how many interviews he gives Rand and Ron. Also, Blitzer seems to treat Dr. Paul the best during the debates and those interviews.
Yeah, I know. Wolf would be my pick if Paul ever does a one-hour sitdown about the newsletters. That guy seems to love Paul.

Everyone on major political news stations is in some way an insider, with the possible exception of Dylan Ratigan. (not counting Fox Business in this)

Now I know it's much easier to lash out in anger, but the way to treat this is for Jesse Benton to contact Dana Bash and have a personal chat with her, explaining his emotions (which were the direct result of this morning's chaos, Carol being shoved).

She's a human being just like every one of us. We may not like her (un)professional behavior, but antagonizing her sure ain't going to help. People CAN change. I used to be a neocon. I'm sure many on this board used to be neocons (or belonged to some other group which we now consider to be enemies to our cause of liberty).

I can tell you without a doubt that NONE of us converted because someone yelled at us, posted hateful or snide stuff on our Facebook pages, told us we were stupid for believing what we believed. We converted because people we respected, people we trusted, little by little opened our eyes.

Nobody was yelling. Also, cutting off an interview is standard procedure. I imagine Mrs. Bash has experienced this quite a lot in her pityful career.

I'm glad Benton stood up for Paul and all of that - but this is the second time that the campaign has walked right into the trap of CNN in as many months. Now I'm sure the campaign is extremely busy, and I'm sure they can't plan for everything, but for goodness sake someone in there has to know the stuff Bash has been saying about Paul and also had to have seen her as part of the mob at the restaurant. Why then would you grant this horse-faced bitch an interview after what happened, knowing that she would use those events as a smear against you? I'm not saying avoid the network all together, but pick your spots and stop trying to kick Lucy's football. Bash should have been at the bottom of the barrel for an interview. What positive coverage did they possibly think they were going to get from her on the day before the primary?

I should've clarified. It's us Ron Paul supporters that I fear will do the yelling. I'm sure her inbox is already filled with hatred right now.

Paul is more than able to connect with the public. I think it's us supporters that are holding him back when we get angry where Paul remains calm.

Dana just appeared on CNN and aired most of that interview minus Jesse taking it to her, but left in the part where Paul told her it was the media's fault. Very fair surprisingly, they even mentioned Ron Paul's campaign sending out a letter regarding the incident.

Very glad to hear this.

Maybe whatever Jesse said to her after Ron walked away made the difference. If so, good work, Mr. Benton!

ugh.. now I feel like a huge jerk because her report, which just led Wolf Blitzer's show, was 100% FAIR (and in many ways, super positive).

I admire what they did there. They both stood up for themselves there and it was a personal thing...they can't let themselves be beat up on by the media and now the media knows not to mess with them...if anything it helps Paul because most average Americans don't like the media people anyway...i have more respect for Ron because I heard him do that...
