[Video] Doug Wead speaks about Rand Paul 2016

Is the video-splice offensive? If it was done as methinks intended, with just a hyperlink, would that have been offensive? What about the posting of either version (30min with splice or 12min with hyperlink) onto RonPaulForums aka the LibertyForest? Are people going to be unhappy, uncomfy, sour taste in the mouth, or something along those lines, if the videos from RandPaulFlix have an advertising-link at the end, and some banter about Israel's weight-loss?

It's not offensive to me... but it wasn't so much us I was thinking about, but you know, the average newcomer that would stumble upon it. It's not that it's a MLM company. It's that lot of people are trained to have a certian gut reaction to anything perceived as profiteering off of a cause... deserved or not, that's just the way it is. There were some people upset at Tom Woods at first when he introduced Liberty Classroom, which I would argue is a fantastic and great idea that I wholly support.

As I said earlier, I've known people working for other MLM type businesses, and it's like another poster here said: if the product is quality then it isn't a problem. If it isn't a good product, then things can get spamy and pushy, if sellers struggle to attract customers. So if you come across as too pushy, then it makes people doubt the product, which I don't think was the intended message. The best are the ones that eventually get to the point where they are word of mouth. I mentioned having friends who work for companies like Mary Kay, Avon, or Pampered Chef (and I've bought stuff from all three), because the products are good and those who sell for them have developed good strategies that are fun and make you want to participate (like at home parties, etc).

I didn't mind them mentioning the company in the video, it just seemed a bit too long. If they had done two separate videos, or just kept it short and sweet, that would have been better, that's all. We clicked expecting the main topic to be about Rand, so it should have mostly stayed on topic, IMO.... it's not a big deal, I'm not hearing any negative or bad buzz about it. Just maybe something to keep in mind for the future.

yea, definitely not defensive to me, but I just wasn't too keen on it... Then again, I think Alex Jones does a lot of it so I guess if its needed then so be it. I just don't care for it and I just guess I didn't like it done this way. They need money, I get it. I kind of get concerned when something is pushed, kinda like Beck and the Gold business he was pushing/marketing, even though they were a terrible company. Just seems like a conflict of interest in a way.. Someone mentioned this is legit, but its more likely someone will say their product is legit or the best, when they have something to gain. But I'm prob the only one that feels this way so take it as just a view from the other side of the spectrum.

A little weird how they turned a Rand Paul discussion into a commercial.

I do think they believe in the product but overall I wish they hadn't pulled the ol' bait and switch.

Hi guys, this is Israel. Take a look at this, and look at the DATE on the video, watch the rest in this channel, and you'll get some context. http://youtu.be/WqczdN9Oq7A

I was introduced to this by Doug Wead and Ronnie Paul, Rand Paul's brother, Ron Paul's son. They are wanting us activists to be able to keep working. During the primaries I had to shut the doors on my small IT business for a whole month, and it has never recovered. We need a different source of income so we can keep being activists. So this has EVERYTHING to do with Rand Paul's run in 2016. I am supporting Rand Paul. I know some of you aren't, that's fine, but please don't resent me because I have chosen to.

I did a lot of due diligence on the company AND the products. I was in Amway 20 yrs ago and it sucked. This is very different. You can SEE the weight I have lost! It's real, it's HEALTHY, it's introducing people not just to a product but to a healthy LIFESTYLE, and health and nutrition has been my 2nd passion in life for 22 years! I hope you'll give this a chance and be open-minded about it. YES, the products ARE expensive, no doubt, but their team of 25 scientists have cutting edge nutrition that is "hacking" the body with the right foods and nutrients to give results others can only CLAIM to produce. Just look at my videos, compare that first one to the one with Doug Wead or the one I'm putting up later today. I am the happiest I have been in 10 years guys. Losing 12 lbs in 17 days and STILL losing it, is one of the most amazing things to happen to me in a long time, and don't take my word for it, you can clearly SEE it in the videos!! I was a raw foodist for the entirety of 2009, Jan-Dec and worked out 5 hours a week, and I lost 15 pounds in a YEAR. I just lost 12 lbs in 17 DAYS!! I am truly excited about this.

If you want to talk to me about it, feel free to call me (720) 346-4471

And seriously, not everyone is trying to take advantage of you. Some of us DO have our hearts in the right place.
