Wead, like Ron Paul, makes the most of his time, and throughout this race, they've been doing it very well. The movement is inevitable
NOPE all Softballs and both networks covered the exact same questions and of course huge plug for "Pick Rick 2012 #26 NASCAR sponsored race car... the Liberal Corporate Media wants Santorum as the nominee... he loses big time to Obama.
Other news... Mitt Romney is in Daytona doing the photo ops with all the drivers and interviews.
Where's Ron today?
Wead: "If Paul got the Ring of Power, he would throw it in Mt. Doom!"
Haha. Nice. Although I liken RP more to Aragon than Frodo.
But the Frodo analogy is better. There are interpretations of the LotR as a libertarian/anarchistic analogy. Not only the Ring-story but also the way the Shire was "governed" and a few other things. Altough Tolkien always refuted to give the LotR another meaning than the story itself. But there are letters to his son where he writes about how evil politicians are who want to have power and that he sees himself as an anarchist.
The analogy is perfect. Ron Paul wants the power of the presidency not to run other peoples' live, but to throw the possibility to do so forever into Mt. Doom. There was a reason why Gandalf didn't want to have the ring. Because only someone who doesn't really want to have it ought to have it. And that fits Ron Paul perfectly, imho.
Very interesting. LOTR/RP thread here that I just discovered from a few years ago http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showth...ings-A-Libertarian-Anarcho-Capitalist-Message .
Tube, pretty please, want to see Wead.
Wow that was so impressive.
