Goals 2000. No Child Left Behind. Common Core. The Emperor's new clothes-makers have come out with yet another cool educational program that is supposed to prop up the empire for another few years. It is yet another attempt to maintain homogenous viewpoints, worldviews, and least common denominator educational standards for the 94% who attend public schools in this country. Nearly all the states have adopted these standards except for Texas, Alaska, Nebraska, and Virginia. But how will these standards affect homeschoolers?
