[Video] CNN: Ron Paul's Foreign Policy endorsed by former military leaders

Here's video of Erin Burnett, Adm. Joe Sestak (Ret) and Maj Gen. James Marks (Ret) discussing a reduction of the number of US military bases around the world, which has always been Ron Paul's position. It's a very positive discussion of Ron Paul's foreign policy. Of course the catch is that they don't mention Ron Paul by name, even as they endorse his position on saving money by closing unnecessary bases around the world.

When is the campaign going to do a foreign policy ad showing stuff like this? Ron is constantly being portrayed as the "crazy uncle" all alone, would be nice if they let people know he's not alone or crazy in his thinking.

No. And anyone who does is reading into things.

I think you can say without fear of contravention that there is simply nobody at CNN, FOX or MSNBC who is a fan of any kind of Ron Paul. The Judge over on FOX Business is, but they don't even exist. And even Joe Scarborough at MSNBC, who used to be positive about Ron, is now trashing him or ignoring him whenever possible. And it's all because of the newsletters and the inadequate response to them. No news person or commentator on that level is going to allow his or her reputation to be tied to Ron because of the newsletters.

Sorta but the media is not our friend and they/she would turn on us in a second....don't trust them..it could be the good cop/bad cop thing they got going. Perhaps she has a younger audience and she is trying to appease us because we would be her natural audience.

They called it military "sites", and neither of the military guys corrected it. After a couple of google searches, it's a hard statistic to come by. A rough estimate of 1000 bases seems like consensus after looking at multiple sources. Bottom line is that CNN did it's usual haphazard job of research.
