Do you think it's considered "fair use" to use one of CNN's clips on their OWN network to call them out for lying? Also, the creator of that video would REALLY need to boil it down to make it 30 seconds long. we may not be able to get the message across effectively in 30 sec.. 60 sec may be more appropriate.

I can research the fair use bit with the EFF (Electronic Frontier Foundation) and get an answer soon. I seem to recall a lawsuit last election cycle due to copyright take downs based on showing video of opposing candidates speaking. I am rather sure there has to have been a ruling by now. I will look into it.

As far as the videos and their lengths are concerned... 30 seconds is the way to go.

1. They are cheaper. This means running them more, or at better times or more watched channels.

2. Quick, concise and to the point.

3. We can make several, so viewers dont get sick of the same commercial over and over.

4. We would need to be creative in doing this, so Im sure many of the results would be entertaining/creative.

I'm pretty sure RevPAC is monitoring these boards, so they need to get in touch with this guy or come up with something similar on their own.

This video is scarring the hell out of the establishment!!! On Facebook 4567 people have shared this video, yet youtubes view count is 2331. My brother and I watched the share count go up and down from 328 shared on FB to 333 shared on FB, it went up and down 15 times from 328 to 333. Weirdest thing you ever seen. I thought once someone shares something on FB, even if they delete it, it's still been shared? I guess up is down and right is left, hopefully we can get things back to normal in this upside down world soon!

Do you think this would qualify: "is the communication of a statement that makes a claim, expressly stated or implied to be factual, that may give an individual, business, product, group, government, or nation a negative image. It is usually a requirement that this claim be false and that the publication is communicated to someone other than the person defamed (the claimant)."

I think the Ron Paul campaign could have a possible case. But I'm not a lawyer and don't play one on TV.
