Any ideas yet? Oklahoma's Tom Coburn maybe? I think he's a bit nutty on social issues, but I'm not aware of anyone more fitting of the Dr. No VP spot then Coburn with US finances.

personally i would ask Kucinic. i dont see eye to eye on every issue but i really trust him. he is on the right side of the fence when it comes to my issues (drug war, Iraq) and he seems anti-establishment. he would do a great job i believe. not to mention having a BI-PARTISAN run at the dems might just hurt em :)

I was thinking the same thing, sure they differ on some issues, but a lot of the early presidents did also! I trust Kucinich over the other Republicans, it will overall be a good thing for Paul.

Definitely not Dennis Kucinich; awful idea. Ron needs a fellow Libertarian as Vice.

My picks: G. Edward Griffin or Chuck Baldwin

I'd would like Griffin more than Baldwin, since Griffin knows his history and economics really really well.

I would rather see Mike Gravel than Kucinich, although I think Ron Paul's vice president should be a small government conservative, not a big government socialist. Democrats like Gravel and Kucinich agree with Paul on certain issues such as the war, the patriot act and the drug war, but their view of government's role in society is diametrically opposed to Ron Paul's. If something happens to the president the Vice President has to step in and take over so Ron Pauls running mate should have an identical agenda, otherwise we could be back to square one very shortly.

Judge Napolitano might be a good choice: Napolitano on Wikipedia

I'm thinkin, Barry, Jr. .... what a ticket that would be ..!:D

Awesome symbolism in a Goldwater Jr. pick. But I'd rather see a solid libertarian conservative, like maybe Bob Barr or Walter Williams. Napolitano (the only FOX commentator worth listening to) would also be nifty.

Another nomination for Kucinich. Damn that would be a powerful ticket. It would be almost unfair to have that much more combined brainpower than everyone else.

I think what he needs to do is balance the ticket a bit.
With a folk superhero like Kucinich on our side the Paul victory would be so total that the aftershocks would topple the governments of Mexico, Canada and Cuba too.

Ralph Nader would be a good choice too.

I meant this when thinking about Kucinich because if we get another libertarian (which would be awesome too) it's likely that they don't have enough name recognition (sadly people vote on this sometimes) as Dennis Kucinich, who I believe would be a responsible democrat. Gravel and Nader are pretty powerful tickets too. The Barry Goldwater Jr. idea would also be pretty tight.

Walter Williams all the way! They can go pound sand with their stupid rhetoric about RP being a racist and so many people of African decent will begin to uderstand real liberty when they start to listen to those two guys talking about it in no uncertain terms. That duo would turn this country around. And Williams is absolutly brilliant with regard to economic issues.

We need to save judge Andrew for SC

Pat Buchanan for some cabinet position. Maybe secretary of state

Michael Scheuer for something.

Stossel for spokeman/press secretary.

In fact, I wish to God that Ron Paul would announce right now his entire cabinet selection if elected. Get those guys all out campaiging for him together.

Lets break all molds.

if you don't feel like checking my sig, then i'll give the short of the argument- Kucinich and Paul have the same vision and the same goals but they don't agree on policy. Where there is a common vision there is room for compromise

also, Kucinich has already said on record that he wants Paul to be his VP (as if he's gonna get the nod from the Democrats, lol) so theres a lot of love on both sides.

Williams would be my second choice after Kucinich though.

I think we should round up all the socialists that want Kuchinich as VP and throw them in concentration camps!!! :D

JK, actually, but WHEN will you realize that Kuchich IS NOT ABOUT FREEDOM!!!! He's anti-war, but HE'S A SOCIALIST and WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND GUNS!!!
