Evening, folks,
So after browsing the state RLC groups, I come across Maryland's and find this piece of good news while talking with their Chair about future voter outreach. Apparently one like us was unsuccessful at the Chair run, just barely, but did succeed in the Vice Chair Run. According to the Republican Liberty Caucus of Maryland's Facebook page:
Now I get that Maryland is quite blue at the moment, may be blue again come 2014 and even 2016, but any news is good. If'n you want, and I'm no plant or plug for their group since I'm not in Maryland, but give their Facebook page a look.

A week ago, the Maryland Republican Party held its Spring Convention. The main issue considered was the election of a new Chair to lead the Maryland GOP. Three candidates: Diana Waterman (the acting chair), Greg Kline, and Collins Bailey sought the position. Liberty Republicans endorsed Collins Bailey. Diana Waterman won the election by a vote of 284 over Bailey (271) and Kline (3). Collins was elected as the Maryland Republican Party's new Vice Chair. The RLC of Maryland would like to congratulate Collins on his new position. This is a big win for liberty in our State...This vote showed exactly how strong the voice of liberty is within the Maryland Republican Party. Almost half of the party leadership expressed support for the liberty candidate. And we have not yet stepped forward with our true numbers.
Now I get that Maryland is quite blue at the moment, may be blue again come 2014 and even 2016, but any news is good. If'n you want, and I'm no plant or plug for their group since I'm not in Maryland, but give their Facebook page a look.
