Veterans for Ron Paul, Turning Their Backs on Obama

I'm in tears!!! This is pretty epic.

I can't really tell from the live stream on adamvstheman.com but it SOUNDS like there are thousands.

Chanting : "END, THE FED!!!"

Ha ha.

Oh well, what should one expect from a journalist who was once fired from his newspaper for bias.

It was more like 400-600 veterans (don't have an exact count yet) and the total crowd was around 1,000 or more. Weigel is a hater apparently.

The comment section is also full of haters:

"I could get 500 veterans to support individual ownership of tactical nukes. What is the point?"

A couple of these are "dozens", you fuck.

This is a bad piece of journalism by Mr. Weigel, but outright bias? No.

More like laziness. He reported a stories minimum facts because it was a quick and easy piece to report.

He did not ask a non-biased bystander (police officer firefighter etc.) to account for the actual number of people at the event - this is Journalism 101.

He did not call the U.S. Army and report the angle that these soldiers were performing civil disobedience and could be disciplined for their actions.

He did not even talk to the soldiers and get a good pull out quote.

Basically a crappy online article, one I would not Drudge.

"Thundering echoes of President Paul, End the Fed, and End this War, could be head from blocks away."

Regular citizens should have been able to march behind the military personnel. Would have been a huge crowd then with the same purpose.

They did. A military truck followed the veterans and civilians marched behind the truck.
