Veteran gun owner persecuted by ATF - on Lou Dobbs

I havent watched the video - no sound - but did he have all his guns taken for a little burst? Was he at a public range? Can someone post a link to the written story (not a video) ?
 
This is a good man and fellow patriot, he dose not deserve this nor dose any other American.

I remain assured that when he is actually allowed to present a viable defense (as of yet they have prevented this as much as they can) he will be cleared of all charges and his case will be use as an example of ATF legal abuse.

I'm sorry to say this but so far even with being found guilty he has gotten off easy.
They could have shot his wife and son or burned his children alive, i mean after all they have done it before
 
Further solidifies my disdain for the ATF. They aren't serving the people, I wish we had a president that recognized this, they'd have my vote.
 
I read through a lot of the thread and watched the Dobbs piece.

Holy shit, that is sickening. And they did that to a former Army man, and current National Guardsman. If they get away with this, it is a serious blow to our rights and a huge blow to that man's family.

Good for Dobbs for covering it.
 
My brother is a gun dealer in Erie, PA (Erie Sports Store on State St.), and to be fair...he had his first Audit as its been 15 years since the store had one, and the ATF guys were very fair when he had things that they needed to get cleared up. They actually commended him on being one of the best dealer's in their region.

Not saying what happened in WI was justified, actually not at all....but just be careful when blasting against any group (ATF or any other group) that has many members/workers nationwide.

Perhaps, but it is yet another alphabet agency that should not exist.

That's great. I'll be in Erie within the next couple of days. I'll check his store out, it's been eons since I've been to the State St. store.

I'm sure that the guys who work with the ATF are just like anyone else, some are good, some aren't and I think with this guy's case, it's partially a matter of someone wanting or needing so much to be right, that they allow a citizen to take a fall despite overwhelming evidence.

If Randy Weaver was found Innocent at trial, When then wasn't the hit man or his superiors indited for murder? Two people died up there as a result of gunshot wounds, it wasn't an accident.. some one is guilty.

The ATF are no friends of mine, and any attempts to regulate the possession of firearms in America is bull. Because they were nice to one person because his "Papers were in order" is not a symbol of moral ethics.

Just my Opinion but I find every ATF agent to be moral less due to the nature of there careerer.
 
Geheime Staatspolizei: “secret state police” (gestapo) I'm sure there were men of morals in that bunch to. --- but morals have a way of fading when your given carte blanche power. And Morals have a way of fading when your surrounded by the immoral. I think any man or woman working for the ATF, if they are not now morally corrupt, they soon will be.

I'm not blaming Joe Shmoe at the ATF help desk, but as pcosmar pointed out they are another group that should not exist. Limiting freedom is preposterous, and overstepping their boundary is just another straw on the horses' ever-weakening back.

Mr. Olafson is a staunch RP supporter, and he is hoping that Ron Paul will directly assist him in rendering his dismissal.

Before BATFE stole some AR-15 lowers from me personally, I never gave them much thought, but asset forfeiture is a primary means of revenue generation for the agency, so when it comes to BATFE: money trumps justice.

The manufacturer of the AR lowers; KTO, after losing a great deal of business and spending $20K on lawyers fees, received a dismissal, but the parts will not be returned pending an "ongoing investigation."

The reality is that, barring any semblance of due process, let alone respect for my private property, the BATFE agents kept my lowers, and have no intentions of ever returning my rifle parts, nor of reimbursing my lost profit and productivity (the BATFE agent in charge personally told me this about a month after the raid).

Are these the acts of justice rendered by a servant government agency, or the crimes of a rogue entity, hell-bent toward the decimation of my individual rights?
