Very useful economic explanation

Apparently I need to post in bold for this thread.

I contacted Euro Pacific Capital (Peter Schiff's company) and asked them what the chances of getting this reprinted were. Haven't heard back yet. Wouldn't this be a great thing to pass out door to door? I think people would actually read it.

I'm printing it and I'm going to use it as part of the pamphlet I'm making to pass around my community.

Thanks!

I love Ron Paul people. They are the most informed people I know.

Is Irwin still alive? or in jail? Did the IRS ever beat him down?

I loved that guy exposing/standing up to the IRS back before it was "fashionable." First heard of him in the late 1980s from a health nut guy who used to mail out IRS fraud info along with Irwin Schiff info... T.C. Fry, American Freedom Network or something like that, and the Feds would raid his small-time printing operation in Texas because of it and he had to up and move cross country and start over, etc. etc. It eventually was the death of him, literally.

Didn't even know Peter Schiff was Irwin's son until about a week and a half ago, lol.

i read the first few pages, and was impressed - I too saved a copy - I'll read it through and probably let my ten-year-old read it afterwards! Thanx!

So how do we get this thing reprinted, if the author is in jail for tax "evasion"?

Good question, maybe contact him and get him to provide a written letter that you can include with every copy, stating that he gives permission to reproduce this information for educational purposes.

Although I do not even know if you need to get permission if you are using it to educate people rather than make money by selling it.

Where is a copyright lawyer when you need one.

I suppose another thing to try is go to the contacts of the website where it is hosted and ask their opinion.

Since they are already sharing it, hopefully they know what the right course of action is.

Love it!

I actually read this several years ago.

It so applies to today's fraud of the money makers.....

He still makes ocassional updates to his webpage. As far as I am concerned he is a political prisoner.

Last update was Aug.

So a few things irked me about this, and I apologize if this starts some long debate, but well here they ar.

1) Pay for the right to vote.
This concept is a bit new to me. How could this work and how does it not discourage poorer people from voting? How does it discourage rich people who don't care from voting? Furthermore It's my understanding of a republic that the best way to control government is through a constitution that binds government down, not charging people for voting? ( I do understand that it costs to have elections however)

2)The Water Project
In the comic, the 'H20' peddler' comes to the bank and asks for a loan for a water system. Then later they talk about how the water system costs 54,000 a year to feed the workers who maintain the system and that if savers quit putting their money in the bank there would be no way to pay those workers. Why is the bank paying for people's water rather than the water program charging people individually for the water?
