Suggest that something more devious may have been in the works?

To go to the elaborate plans that they did to allegedly gain access to the home seems to indicate something of extreme importance and damaging consequences.

People will do desperate things when faced with desperate situations.

Uh huh, and you are implying that is what happened. You know, I thought we supported the principle that you are innocent until proven guilty. But, here, on RPF, we seem to have a cadre of "supporters" who want to be first in line to hang people before the facts are all in. Do we really need to be throwing logs on the fire before we see what happens? The media is going to continue to do the kind of things that you are trying to join in on. What went on in that house, and what led up to Gamble's death, I have no clue.

That said, I had already posted, that if Benton had listened to kooks like me, he might very well be able to stay out of prison, or at least beat the "making false statements to the FBI" rap, which is the most likely thing he will be convicted of.

Innocent until proven guilty is a standard to be used in court, not to form your own opinions.

How many times have I suggested people exercise their Fifth Amendment rights when confronted by cops?

If Benton had taken that advice, he would not be facing, among other things, a USC 1001 charge for "lying to the FBI".

I'm doing what I've been doing all along, for years now, trying my level best to make people aware of the police state around them and help, in my small way, to try and keep them and their pets, alive and out of prison.
