Very Fake News Scandal Consumes CNN

Where did the 'very' in 'very fake news' come from?

I'm guessing that in this form of newspeak, fake news means news I don't like or don't agree with, and then very fake news means actually fake news.

We have to conform to ironclad standards to use adjectives, now? Really?

Okay. But we aren't letting the trolls determine them. How about this? Fake news is half the facts mixed with plenty of editorial content masquerading as fact. Very fake news, meanwhile, is out-and-out lies.

So, why do you people use the names of existing members who were popular, but didn't hang around long? AuH20 did that with AuH2O, and you did that with the count. Is that in the procedure manual? Do you think you're fooling people?

My point is that lots of the things that are called 'fake news' stopped being 'fake' after 24-48 hours when they were directly corroborated by Our Glorious Cheeto Emperor. They were called fake not because of their lack of validity or sources, but rather because they did not support a particular worldview. Not only that, but these are the same people who continue to support news outlets which continually publish things that are not true, and who will defend these news outlets with excuses like 'well yeah they're not always/often right but sometimes they publish truths before anyone else.' It's a subjective double standard operating under the guise of objectivity.

Oh no, they're on to us! Burn all of it! Get a Redditor to come shoot all the hard drives!

"The saturated Media, now facing unemployment, are desperate for stories to entertain the public and are failing miserably.
The Media pecking order has become an auto-immune disease attacking itself,
causing lowly reporters to search high and low for a story.
Now...
They frequent forums for trends, inspiration, and take word-for-word material and put it in their pages.
Is that violation of copyright? yup.
Is that showing lack of real talent in the Media, yup.
Is it plagiarism? yup.
Will Media be taken to court for stealing in this fashion? probably not."
