Automatic: step on the brake until you feel the torque converter catch (usually about 2k), mash, and around you go.
Manual: use the clutch just like an automatic torque converter... rev, dump, and around you go.
This way you break loose right away without having to worry about pavement temp and all of that.
Ya, I don't do them everyday... those tires cost about $1400 per set. The only reason you see this is because they were completely worn out. I'd be more than willing to practice more if you provide the tires...
