USA Today: Paul's issue with Huckabee's Christmas ad: 'Fascism' will be 'carrying a c

It may not be getting much press on the news sites, but ALL OVER the place on the various forum sites! That comment has gone completely viral and most that I have seen are quite positive!!!

This is a great comment, which says it all:

"I think Paul's critique of the ad was fair. It is apparent from viewing Huckabee's Christmas ad that the window frame was intentionally illuminated and set dressed to achieve the image of a cross. Huckabee is hoping to appeal to Christians. The essence of Paul's remark is that there are other presidential candidates who are also Christian, but do not make Christianity the pillar of their political campaign, essentially wrapping themselves in a flag and a cross at the same time."

Most peeps recognize the truth when they hear, even though it makes them feel uncomfortable.

I view this development as not so much against Huckabee only but against the general direction the Republican Party and the Nation are heading.

I am a Christian dedicated to serving my Lord and Savior Jesus, AND I AGREE WITH RON PAUL on this one.

I go to a large evangelical church, and I see how the government and the political powers have convinced Christians to support various issues that are contrary to what our Founding Fathers believed. Examples: Federal Marriage Amendment support, War on Terror support, etc.

It's an absolute shame that candidates intentionally choose to disgrace my God by using Him as a pawn in their ever-growing quest to usurp power from ALL Americans.

Our nation has a long Christian past and heritage, and using Christianity as a peruasive tool to lead people astray is effective, yet reprehensible.

Just as I am, Ron Paul is a Christian, and he believes exactly what he said to Steve Doucey on FauxNews. It takes a strong believer with a true conscience to see the system and candidates for what they are and point it out on national TV.

God Bless Ron Paul!

I completely agree. That is exactly the way I feel on this.

The last one is the best example of what Huckabee’s end game is about-using religion to get votes.

I woke up today and saw Faux totally blowing the quote out of proportion. Said it was Ron Pauls quote, it was directed at Huckabee, and that Paul also called millions of Americans facists. Then they showed other peoples Christmas ads, then they went back to how their viewers should be offended by Ron Pauls comments.
