It's true that runes are not Nazi symbols, but it's the only known usage for 70 years in the western world.
Oh bull. I really hate when people make the Hitler comparison. It is almost always about someone who is nothing like Hitler and instead of making that person evil, it devalues the horror of The Holocaust.
OMG! Gene Simmons is war, and war is the state....lolSo I'm guessing Kiss is anti-semitic too? Even though Gene Simmons (real name Chaim Weitz) is an Israeli Jew...

Thousands of american soldiers were killed to eradicate Nazism.
They failed miserably. National Socialism is alive and flourishing,
And this is further proof of how close we are to becoming the same thing that we once fought.

The Pentagon said it is investigating a video made public Wednesday that appears to show four U.S. marines urinating on the bodies of three dead men dressed in Afghan clothing.
In the video, which was posted on YouTube and the celebrity gossip site TMZ, the four men dressed in combat gear and Marine uniforms unzip their pants and urinate on what appear to be bloody bodies.
A caption beneath the video identified the men as members of a scout sniper team assigned to 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marines, out of Camp Lejeune, N.C.

I agree , poor Leadership if they could not figure out that would be bad PR.This has been around for quite a while. It's not like they were trying to glorify the Nazis. I'm not saying it's a good idea, but they were doing this well before 9/11:

It's really a failure of leadership who should have known it was going to blow up some day. Most likely the folks who did this were counting on it 'striking fear into the hearts of the enemy,' and 'fear is the mind-killer.' It's not like they were trying to glorify Nazis or demonstrate antisemitism, They were just trying to evoke fear in their enemies. The idea being if you can evoke fear in the enemy, you are more likely to survive and achieve victory, while the enemy is more likely to die in defeat.
So yeah, it was a dumb idea, but they were doing this in the 1990's at least, maybe as far back as the 70's. The failure wasn't with this one squad, but with leadership who should have known this was a PR disaster waiting to happen and put a lid on it a decade ago or earlier.
I thought he supported bloodshed of war that killed large number of Iraqis and occupation of Palestinians by Israel if I'm not mistake. Don't think he is into racism ideologies but he never spoke out against bombings in occupied areas as an Israeli.

The Navy plans to spend $600,000 for “camouflage” landscaping and rooftop adjustments so that 1960s-era barracks at the Naval Base Coronado near San Diego will no longer look like a Nazi swastika from the air.
Pete is correct about the flourishing National Sovialism , I wish he was not correct this time , but it is what it is.They failed miserably. National Socialism is alive and flourishing,

Actually, they started to once the war was over.
WASHINGTON -- Following last week's embarrassing controversy involving Marines displaying a flag with what appeared to be a Nazi insignia, American and Afghan soldiers have alleged that an Army base near Kandahar was named Combat Outpost "Aryan," a term evocative of Nazi rhetoric.
In a letter to Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta on Monday morning, lawyers representing the Military Religious Freedom Foundation demanded that Panetta immediately rename the base and launch an investigation into its naming. "The horrendous religious and ethnic connotations are beyond dispute, as is the horribly wrongful nature of either the base name or the use of the SS insignia," wrote Randal Mathis of the Dallas law firm Mathis, Donheiser and Jeter.
You, sir, should win an award for one of the most ironic examples of proving the guy's point to whom you were responding...![]()
If they let me name a base in Kandahar it would probably be bad as well .Here we go again, another leak in he middle of operation enduring freedom:
