Depending on which news outlet you read, they killed between 3 to 5 innocent people and 9 to 16 suspected Al Qadea members. Guess the reporting isn't any more accurate than the weapons.

SANA, Yemen — An airstrike killed 13 people suspected as Qaeda militants in the central Yemeni province of al-Bayda on Saturday, a security official and tribal representatives said. Three civilians in a nearby car were also killed, they said.

SANAA, Yemen (AP) — A U.S. drone strike in southern Yemen killed at least nine suspected al-Qaida militants and three civilians Saturday, authorities said, as part of America's ongoing strikes in the country against what it considers the terror network's most dangerous local group.

A US drone raid on Saturday killed 16 Al Qaeda militants and five civilians in Yemen, an army officer said.

Later Saturday, Yemen's Supreme Security Council described the attack in a statement as an airstrike carried out by Yemeni authorities. It said the attack killed 10 members of al-Qaida who planned to attack "vital civilian and military institutions" in the area. It said the strike wounded one other person in the car.
No one in Yemen believes them.

You'd think they'd have learned their lesson of owning up to strikes they did not do after claiming credit for the murders of 41 civilians in Al Majalah and having to backtrack on their claims for credit before being burned out of their palaces.

This is so absurd.

ETA: Another gem:

There was no immediate U.S. comment on the strike. The U.S. will acknowledge drone strikes carried out by its military, but typically not those done in CIA operations.

AF, dear god man, give a "graphic image" heads up.

How the fuck can anyone in America support shit like that? I don't get it.

How did the generation that screamed "baby killer" at Vietnam vets become baby killers? Or, at least are looking the other way?

Some of them obviously sold out. Others became what was known as the Patriot Movement.. and some just Hide under their comfort pillows(church,TV, Alcohol, etc.)

Though the % of folks on some kind of mind control drugs may have something to do with it.

Came up in a search for "Victims of US drone attacks".

I'll have to insert another.

Trust me, there are plenty.

I don't doubt that for a moment, I've seen many of them. And I looked it up, apparently Israel did make use of drones in Cast Lead (we probably bought them), along with a whole lot of white phosphorous labelled "Made in America."

I was unaware of that.

Not really shocked, though.

ETA - I don't agree with this, by the way.

The pictures of what is being done by government enforcers, here and overseas, needs to be shown, front and center.

Damn straight!! No one should have to apologize for doing so, either.
I mean, NSFW?! Not Safe For Work?!?! Are we really THAT far down the rabbit-hole, even here at RPFs?

Innocents are being butchered in our names - but our concern should be for the "safety" of employees who browse Internet forums while on the job? Were they alive to do so, the victims portrayed in these horrible pictures might have a few choice words to say to us on the subject of what is or is not "safe" - "for work" or otherwise. SMGDH ...
