Good thing another war didn't start because of faulty information:

US doubts over Iran boat 'threat'

Both sets of footage

An alleged threat to blow up US warships "may not have come" from Iranian speedboats involved in a recent stand-off, the BBC has learned.

The voice on a Pentagon tape could instead have come from another ship in the area or a transmitter on land, senior US Navy sources told the BBC.

Where the other ship or land transmitter could have been that almost started US-Iran war?

Once again the US govt making up fake evidence. The pentagon tape is a joke, the american ship captain's response is in no way credible, thats not how communications go. I have to believe the Iranian tape on this one.

I hope it helps american wake up, then again most will believe the "you will explode in 2 minutes" tape cause their IQs are under 70.

I can not believe how this was bolwn up into something.
The coast guard deals with the same or worse off Key West regularly.
Most offshore "GoFast" boats down there are armed.
Some of them Well Armed.
This one is Privately Owned.

You should see it lit up in the Christmas Boat parade.

Just shows you the US government is so incompetent they can't even stage a proper pretense attack.

It's fun watching them try while everyone is expecting it.

Next they'll say there was a missile attack and it'll turn out to be some Iranian kids shooting a slingshot.
