This is how we all must react to all the census workers, polite and respectful. Explain your position and be polite about it. They are just locals trying to get some money, this one worker did a really good job and I hope if they visit me that I get someone as polite as her.

Census workers are just regular people who have to worry about paying bills and putting foods on the table.
They are not our enemy.
The government is the one.

I simply didnt' answer the door.

No law says you have to.

They can sit outside and wait for you to leave, then count heads.

They already said they will talk to people who live near you to get information. That proves that they don't need you to open your door.

They count homeless as a head count only.

It's their job to enumerate. You don't have to go out of your way to make that easy.

And with daytime home invasion robberies, some with murders, there's good reason not to answer, no matter who they say they are.
