Wow. Definitely worth watching. Essentially, as of 1/30/2008, the commercial banking system has no reserves, other than those that they are "borrowing," in the form of freshly created cash from the Fed.

We could be in some hard times ahead. Things are looking worse and worse week to week. I just wish I learned about this mess a lot sooner so I could already be prepared for the worst possible outcome.

As of Jan 30 the banks have NO non-borrowed assets. Negative actually, they looked at records going back to 1959 and that number has never been negative till 4 days ago.
