Actually, they are not set at all in SC. I've been in touch with the grassroots leaders in SC, and they are desperate for supplies, and they need them immediately.

The campaign at least has an HQ office in Maine... Don't know about VT. But South Carolina so far has only been operating a 100% GRASSROOTS effort, with a central grassroots HQ. So they need the support down there badly.

Ok it is the opposite of what I heard. Good luck, if they need help they need help.

In New Hampshire, the grassroots have practiced this quite a bit and with a good measure of success, actually. They went to Mitt Romney's town halls and to Santorum town halls, and they stood outside and waited for people to come out (didn't actually go in). They ended up converting a lot of disgusted people who walked out of those town halls, passed around Ron Paul supplies, and had a healthy amount of interest in Ron Paul, not even to mention the press!

Oddly hostile as in Romney’s opponents — Republicans? Democrats? — have packed the hall early and Romney keeps taking questions from people in the front rows, which is a mistake. (Note to Romney staff: Put actual Romney supporters in the front rows next time.)

I would say that doing what happened inside would be more key.

I'm not saying take his sign down, but we should be VERY WELL represented where Newt places his signs. I think a ratio of 5 to 1 in favor us will be nice. I'm pretty confident Newt's people are taking our signs down and putting his own in place.

Looks like the NH volunteers heading up this effort decided to wrap up the operations and move out of NH on to SC tonight, instead of tomorrow morning, due to the impending snow storm.

Folks, although the truck has left NH for SC, the effort of picking up signs in NH will continue! Leah will be holding them at her place, and once they accumulate a lot of other candidates' signs, they will hold a sign-painting party to re-purpose those signs.

The re-purposed signs of other candidates, what will be painted over with Ron Paul slogans and graphics, will then be used in the neighboring states like Maine and VT where NH grassroots can help out in the upcoming contests.
