On the one hand, I like Ron's old sign, and now Rand uses it, and people are copying it. I'm not sure we want to lose it.

I like this, though.

The not for sale one I like too, but I think that is more the sort of thing supporters should have, not what the campaign should push, because it implies the others ARE for sale.

Sorry if it's a bit big... What do you think of something like this??? (Btw, this is the 10th revision. LOL)

What about a sign that looks like it's on the Constitution? Something similar to the cover "The Revolution A Manifesto".

I voted keep the design, change the year. I like the blue color and wording, looks good in a garden with brighter colored flowers all around and on my front porch. LOL

More info in this thread plus avatars/banners,

Awesome. I see it's a .png file - do you use fireworks by any chance? Would you mind sending me the layered .png file? es*teric10 at gmail.c*m.

Suggestion: font is awesome, but we may need to find one that's just a BIT more legible. Overall, this is fantastic.

I'm not some nobody speaking on this topic. I've been doing corporate branding professionally for years.

That's great. Wondering whether you have any plans of marketing the submitted designs yourself, if the campaign declines?

The reason I ask, of course, is because of this post:

Hey Guys-

I'm starting a non-profit to make some awesome Ron Paul '12 signs and merchendise.. Was looking for some ideas to use as a slogan on the signs..

Let's try to come to a consensus as to what is THE best Ron Paul '12 tagline

I've always been partial to liberty slogans such as "For the Republic, for the Cause!", "Vote for your Liberty!", "Join the Constitution Revolution" locally in 2008 when speaking about Ron Paul. "For President" or "2011" just isn't say enough about him. Seriously.

Its more than just a desire for his presidency. We want our country saved. We could actually put "Save America from Collapse! Vote Ron Paul!"

Indeed! Well, I won't be using any design submitted by others without their permission of course, but I have designed a few things myself so far (yard signs and car decals) which are a bit more pleasing to the eye than what was available to us last time around. They will be available at RonPaulNation.org (my username here .. it's down momentarily for some renovations). It's going to be set up as a non-profit with a percentage of the proceeds donated to a "liberty cause", as from what I understand, they cannot be donated directly to the campaign.

I like the old design, I mean if someone ends up making a more popular one, more power to them. But there's nothing wrong with the origina.

It is great to know that we'll have options and won't be flat footed for Ron Paul gear. I know one of the complaints last time was people waiting for shipping orders from HQ-- whether that was founded or unfounded, at least we're planning ahead.
