ITs to late for them not to air it, my guess is they leaked it on purpose so they could argue they were debating the ethics of it
A woman scorned...
That a campaign could hang on such revelations - most likely framed within a marital context - is doubtful.
If the good folk of Whatever-State are not moved to tune out Newt because of his past exploits, fresh revelations of the same kind seem old-news already.
Unless, of course, this purported "bombshell" is a horse of another color entirely.
If this was Paul (though it never would be) you can be sure no media outlet would be holding off on releasing any damaging information. Hell, some random idiot on the internet uploads a racist video and implies Paul was behind it and it's a front page story (really, it was a front page story on the CBS website). Paul flying first class "on taxpayer dollars" is another unsubstantiated one.
Newt votes probably -> Santorum right now.
Come to think of it, it may come in advantageous if it holds off til Monday. Gingrich is expecting to do well in S.C., 2nd or 3rrd place. He said he has to do well in S.C. or he'll drop out (I think his exact words were it'll be "very difficult" to stay in the race if he doesn't do well in SC). If Gingrich comes in 2nd or 3rd and Paul comes in 2nd or 3rd and the others are lagging significantly behind, the others may drop out after the SC results are announced. That leaves Mitt, Ron, and Newt, but if this bombshell does drop on Monday, that leaves only Mitt and Ron. If there were still others, they wouldn't have any momentum to continue.
That's my theory anyway
This made me laugh so freakin' hard! +RepIt's unethical to withhold it until after the primary, you statist shills and hacks!ABCNEWS said:A decision was tentatively made to air the interview next Monday, after all votes have been counted.
