My zones.com order still says "In Process", although my number is not in the range stated earlier..
 
Looks like i'm getting 2 16 gb versions. Pulled off a miracle. Keeping one for myself and offering the second to family at cost. If they don't want it, i'll sell it to OP @ cost + shipping and if OP doesn't want it i'll sell it to a forum member for cost + shipping.

I'm not going to disclose where i got the tablet. I talked to the CSR about an hour ago and he told me they sold out their inventory @ about 4 AM CST time this morning so there is no need for me to give you a website addy and send unnecessary traffic there. This website was not a big name warehouse type like CDW or Newegg and they were the last website (to my knowledge) to price drop.

if you can find a website that is selling the Touchpad @ the fireseale price and ACUTALLY has them in stock (I've placed about 10 orders only to get all but 2 canceled) i'll eat my hat.

look at my post. The place I got mine has SOLD OUT, me giving you their addy would do nothing for you. I know of no place to get one online at this point, because the deal is dead! If I knew somewhere I would help you all out.

I think she was wondering why didn't you come here right after your order at the site went through to tell us about it..cause we could have them when we do tabling and let people watch Ron Paul videos and stuff. But you ordered 10 of them from a bunch of different sites so this probably wasn't your home base and you probably weren't actually expecting the order to go through anyway.

I would have come here as soon as my order was accepted and told everybody else they should also try placing an order. If I had been told that the one I was receiving was the last one, I wouldn't have mentioned it at all.

I would at least tell people how I happened to discover the vendor.

Nothing against this board, i mean this is my favorite forum in the world, but first and foremost I gotta take care of me. There were over 8,000,000 views on the thread about this deal on slickdeals.net and I was ordering the touchpad from every website that someone presented on the thread.

You literally could not keep up with the posts. The 30 seconds it would take to skim through one page on the thread there would be 3 new pages created!! Again with much love to yall, i was doing everything i could to plant as many HP Touchpad seeds as I could and keep up with the leads i could find.

Off the top of my head i ordered and was canceled on (sites overselling their inventory) from....

and there were several other sites which were more forgettable, and I can't seem to recall off the top of my head.

The second link is currently selling the 16gb for $399.99

edit: doesn't appear you can put it in your cart, not sure if they will change the price when they are available.

Again, i wasn't really all that concerned with hooking everyone up with a touchpad. I had at least 5 orders accepted then canceled on me due to overselling at that point in time so i didn't get my hopes up. As for how i discovered the vendor, it was through reading thousands upon thousands of posts on slickdeals.net forum thread about the HP touchpad firesale. I had at least 12 hours of nose to the forum work to get this deal.
