Could you put up some total number estimates on diff. average donations $10-$20-$30-$40 and guage the numbers so that you can estimate $$$ per minute?

George if you weren't such a redblooded Ron Paul super-patriot, I wouldn't even fire up excel. But since you asked, here are the overly simple, but telling #'s. I used no science, just 1,140 minutes and 433 donations as the inputs for the model

If all 433 donations were $25.00, $'s donated would be $10,825.00; Dollars Per Minute ("DPM") - $9.50 per minute

If 30% of the 433 donations were $25 and 70% were $100, $'s donated would be $33,557.50; DPM $29.44

If 30% of the 433 donations were $25 and 70% were $250, $'s donated would be $79,022.50; DPM $69.32

If 30% of the 433 donations were $25 and 70% were $500, $'s donated would be $154,797.50; DPM $135.79

If 70% of the 433 donations were $25 and 30% were 500, $'s donated would be $72,527.50; DPM $63.62

If 70% of the 433 donations were $25 and 30% were $1000, $'s donated would be $137,477.50; DPM $120.59

Rather than doing this on a haphazard basis, we ought to organize something. We should set donation days, at least once a month. We'll promote it, sell it, and get people out there to make some noise. I can imagine having the chance at least once a month to have competitive donation drives.

Maybe we can even provide some unofficial awards and bragging rights amongst ourselves for fun.

Tom - Agree organized events could be good. I've even suggested this to a few folks who could do something. We could do a cool Transaction # random drawing for really great stuff. Of course this would have to be sanctioned by the powers-that-be, but hey...fundraising is fundraising.

On the other hand, I love doing a little angry cat fundraising like this. I wouldn't have dwindled down my remaining eligible number unless I had been motivated by this spontaneous thread.

You better show up in NYC for the Ron Paul Visit/Rally --- I guarantee it's going to be a blast!

I'm up to around $800 to $900 so far. I intend to keep giving til I can't (legally) give any more.... I've never donated before to any campaign in my life and I'm not rich by any stretch of the imagination. I just sincerely believe something must be done to steer our country back on course and even if things don't work out the way we want I still want to be able to look back and say that I did everything I could to try to fix things.

So anytime I have a little extra money laying around it goes to the campaign. Maybe that means I skip buying the latest iPod. Maybe that means no ski vacation this year. None of that matters. The money will be put to much better use supporting Ron Paul and working to fix our country. That's how I see it anyways...

I will be there in New York if at all possible for the rally, and I expect we'll have a sizable contingent with us.

It should be a blast.

As for the fundraising, so long as it is going to the campaign, we'll accomplish what we need to do. I think the campaign will have a much better tracking system soon from what I've been hearing, so little challenges like this should be simple.
