Updated "Chip-Ins for CPAC" Thread

Students can still get theirs for $11 through Gary Johnson's website, unless he's sold out, too (doubt it). Still, the biggest expense is the transport and housing. Can't find my bank card, so I can't see my balance unless I get to a bank before closing and get a balance. I just posted on my C4L blog about people coming to RPF and making donations. If everyone can help out, then on and after the 4th, those of us waiting on pay checks can pick up the loose ends and get this done.
Would anyone be interested in having a late night/early morning Chat Room convergence to talk this up and get it done? Maybe the 4th? I'm 13 hours ahead of the east coast, so some of those hours I'd be working, but if we could get over 100 people into the chat room, who knows what can happen?
Also, does YAL have any tickets remaining, or were all theirs through C4L?

I think everything was through CfL and needed names for registration... Yes, we need to go through these and clean up...

Currently, the Chip-In total comes to about $172/person. I assume that includes ticket price, if tickets not yet bought. Let's see who's got tickets available: maybe some of the state C4L gorups, like New York?

We can see where the NYC C4L Bus trip stands in the am...

Michael, can you PM me an email addy to send this ExCel sheet to? It might be handy if you can figure out how to post it and easy for figuring out totals.

Haha, I wish I would have seen this earlier. I just did a spreadsheet as well.. I've got the dollar/vote for each ChipIn, but I'm waiting for clarification on status before posting the numbers.

If you'd like to take a look and collaborate with me, email me your email address and I'll add you to the Google Doc.

Your's is probably better than mine. I wasn't sure about the number coming for some of the chip-ins. I'll PM you now.

Uh oh, says you've exceeded your storage space and have to clear something out so you can get new mail.

Anyway, let's assume yours is better. Is there a way to save yours so it can be posted? Then any updates could be done to the total needed column instead of people having to go to each chip-in site to see what's happening. It would be faster for updating and for deciding where to donate.

is there away to go all out and get gary johnsons tickets to cpac etc and promise to support him as our second vote? Don't they give you a 1st choice and second choice? i suspect most gary supporters would already be voting ron paul first and gary second but for those that can pledge the second vote choice would make garys camp feel included:) just an idea

Yes, Google Docs automatically updates published documents every 5 minutes. We would simply post the published link and any changes we make the document would update in near real time. Also, try sending me an email through RPF since my PM box is full.

That's the idea, Michael; put it up front page like a money bomb counter, except in reverse, going towards "zero". How do I email Krippy through RPF? I'm so technologically illiterate!
What I have is a column for names/# of people per site; column for chip-in addy links; columns for total cost, amt. donated already, and amt. needed. I use "sigma" to total these at the bottom. I have included those filled as an encouragement and set sigma to ignore those in the totals. So if you've got something as good or better than that, just use yours. Sometimes I just OCD with stuff like this, like my lists of "Audit the Fed" co-sponsors. :D

I'm seeing only 69% for Aldanga & Friends at their chip-in site. Are they filled or not?

Yes, we're filled. If the YAL promo comes through we'll have enough. We have 3 referrals, but only two have shown up as of last time I checked. My state director said he'd get it worked out, so we're good to go.

Can you guys open, and edit this roughed in spreadsheet?

Okay, it wouldn't let me paste, so I typed it in under yours and saved. Not sure if it will "take" but you can see what I was doing. I just used the "Sigma" function to sum up. I've got a class of 6th graders waiting for me. Got to go.

Can't access Google Docs to post my complete form from work. I'll check in later. Got lunch and another class.
