Update: Rand Paul reddit AMA set for Thursday @ 7:30 pm ET!

The only candidates with support on Reddit are Rand Paul (probably 10%, and this is very generous) and Bernie (90+%). It's a very liberal crowd, but Rand can handle it.

Yea people might think you're exaggerating but the Politics section is literally 90% Bernie posts. Each with 200+ replies.

We've confirmed the @reddit AMA! Senator @RandPaul will be answering your questions tomorrow, 1/21, at 7:30pm ET!

If this is confirmed then this needs more exposure, reddit AMA's are a live event in the sense that people like to read them as they happen, is there a post we can upvote on reddit to make this gain visibility? I wish he would of done this during the debate.

Long time lurker here from Ron's 2012 cycle.

Reddit is actually pretty supportive towards Rand, more so than Trump/Cruz. About half the people in r/politics say things like, "he is the smartest in the GOP field..I just wish his economics were different but I love his foreign policy" while the other half just think he is completely irrelevant and nothing like his father (who btw was loved on reddit nearly as much as Bernie is now.)

Obviously Rand won't be able to answer all the questions asked so I think it is important to have intellectual discussion (as much as possible) with the Sanders supporters when the inevitable questions about the environment, top 1%, healthcare, etc. pop up. AMA's with prominent politicians get tons of views so this is a great opportunity for Rand and his supporters to spread the message of liberty. So if you don't have a reddit account its worthwhile to make one. All it requires is an email account.

If they kept it 2,016% and periscoped it, and have it on Facebook live like the town halls lately with him on the computer (of course with others; just not visually) doing it then it would be a knock out of the park.

You don't even need an email address. You just pick a username and password, and you're done.

ah youre right, its been a while since i made my account. hopefully rand will be able to answer a lot of questions

Everyone have some questions written down ahead of time that they want to ask? :toady:

Here Are My Questions

Everyone have some questions written down ahead of time that they want to ask? :toady:

  1. "Sen. Paul, do you believe that a morally consistent pro-life position includes having a non-interventionist foreign policy?"
  2. "If so, then isn't it wise to distinguish yourself from the other Republican candidates (who label themselves as being "truly pro-life") by driving that point home to conservative voters?"

thread is now live for posting questions, Rand will be back at 7:30 ET to answer

Here's mine.

You have to pass spending and its all in one night Would you rather fight a omnibus spending bill or bunch of small budget bills? Or in other words, would you rather fight a duck sized horse or a horse sized duck?

Do you promise to sign an executive order declaring Canadian bacon illegal?
