Unity 08... Paul/Kucinich...

Unity 2008 has to be Bipartisan... what Dem would you have him run with?

Thomas Jefferson.

They nominate from the internet, from the people, so if we have enough people on board we might be able to override that rule.

I have an account on there just in case, even though I can't vote, I can vote there, I might just go on there just to vote for someone.

Unity party might as well not exist. I've seen it mentioned 3 times in this forum and nowhere else, anywhere.

Gravel is a far better match with RP then Kucinich.

Chris Dodd seems to be a pretty good choice.

Similarities:
Against the Iraq War
Against Illegal immigrants (but wants easier legal immigration)
Against Federal gun-control
Against telecom warrentless spying
Against Federal criminalization of marijuana

Contrasts:
Pro-choice
Wants to extend healthcare
Wants Federal intervention in energy crisis

So, if he can be convinced that the Federal government doesn't have a right to legislate on the places he disagrees with Paul upon he makes a pretty good running mate. Although, I also agree that Unity '08 is completely unknown and therefore probably wouldn't help us for a general election run.

I would also prefer Gravel to Kucinich. But that would make a 149-year-old ticket.

Ron Paul WILL NOT run with a SOCIALIST.

Some people have NO CLUE what Dr. Paul represents.

Once again, for those of you who are dense:

F R E E D O M ! ! !

Mike Gravel said that we should be able to buy marijuana in gas stations.

I don't do drugs or drink at all, but I agree with him :P.

I agree with this. I thought all along that Dodd was the least noxious of the dem lineup.

Kucinich is certifiably insane. Maybe he has good intentions, but he is still a ufo-watching gun-grabbing fruitloop.

This is a weird thread... Kucinch is too far fetched on socialism...Hillarry and Mac are a better match! LOL:eek:

because he's
an honest guy!

picture a ballot
with nader/gonzalez
and also paul/ kucinich!
this is almost a
liberal's nightmare!

Socialist party won elections in Milwaukee

The Unity party existed in the early 1900's after the Socialist party won elections in Milwaukee. It was formed as a merger of Dems and Reps. It broke apart very soon after the Socialists were defeated.

However, a key factor in the use of the Unity label is unusual circumstances. What we've seen in the past 4 elections is the two party system running like normal.

Paul/Goldwater is logical as a ticket!

even if Perot/Kucinich is on the ballots,
i feel mcCain's people would break into a sweat!
