UK to ban free speech

This is what happens when you empower someone who is a procedural, managerial type, rather than someone bound by philosophy.

People with good intentions who seek to find a rational, logical solution to problems in the real world, and don't have any compunction about trampling over your rights to do it. Things like gun control come from this perspective.

This is what happens when you do not have a republic with a constitution.

The benevolence of the UK is derived from a de facto adherence to principles of the Magna Carta. The Magna Carta, a peace treaty was only needed because of Roman control and then the infiltration which put Barons in allegiance with Rome.

Logically the deep compulsions of conquest and crusade; assimilated though the English elite, still in allegiance with Rome, expressed through the covert control of America since the civil war; end up escalating and any threat of interference is countered with oppressive efforts.

Economic problems will spell the end of the liberal bullshit.
And the West will once again start making decisions based on reality and not existential nonsense.

But how bad will it get first? Despite our complaints and accurate reasoning about the way things should be, it will still take decades, possibly a century, before people in America are literally starving. This could take a very, very long time. I agree with you in principle, though, that when the jig is up, the jig is up.

on a different take, i find the irony of the BBC showing V FOR VENDETTA almost on a weekly basis rather odd...

while i'm at it...fuck you Piers Morgan...

You know, it's always easy to go against positive beliefs like hate speech.

On the one hand, one can't force somebody to think a certain way, but on the other, having a society use all kinds of terms just breeds the old world all over again.

It has been proven time and time and time and time and time and time and time and time and time… and time again:

You cannot legislate morality.

Nor should we try.
This is partly why Islam is, specifically, Sharia Law, cannot work in a free society. And I use this example because the UK and Europe are seeing the side effects of not fighting back and letting minority groups run amok over established laws and institutions in replace of their own laws that heavily do this exact thing (legislate morality).

I'm sure I'll ruffle some feathers with that comment, even on here. I can/will elaborate if needs be.
