Sooooo pumped for this. Two of my favorite fighters going at it; should be a great fight. Shogun is a great fighter, but Machida is just too good for him. I don't see Shogun winning this bout unless he gets lucky and gets one punch in the right spot.

Others slated to fight tomorrow night:

Main card
Light Heavyweight Championship bout: Lyoto Machida (c) vs. Mauricio Rua[1]
Heavyweight bout: Cain Velasquez vs. Ben Rothwell[1]
Lightweight bout: Joe Stevenson vs. Spencer Fisher[1]
Catchweight (176 lb) bout: Anthony Johnson vs. Yoshiyuki Yoshida[1]
Catchweight (157 lb) bout: Gleison Tibau vs. Josh Neer[1]

Light Heavyweight bout: Ryan Bader vs. Eric Schafer[1]
Heavyweight bout: Antoni Hardonk vs. Patrick Barry[1]

Middleweight bout: Yushin Okami vs. Chael Sonnen[1]
Middleweight bout: Jorge Rivera vs. Rob Kimmons[1]
Light Heavyweight bout: Kyle Kingsbury vs. Razak Al-Hassan[1]
Heavyweight bout: Stefan Struve vs. Chase Gormley[1]

I don't care who wins, I just want a good fight! I kinda want Shogun to win, just because I want Machida's reign to be displaced.

sopcast.com for anyone that wants to "share" someone elses TV ;)

Just got a text from m friend that he purchased this and is having people over. I'm a big fan of MMA but I don't really know many of the UFC fighters. Think I'm still gonna go watch it anyway

http://channelsurfing.net is another place to see the fights for free.

I think Machida takes this but I've always been a Shogun fan and if we get the Shogun from the Pride GP he has a great chance. I think Cain will lose to Rothwell. Decent fights.

As much as I like Machida and believed he would win, that decision was Bullshit!

Yea, I think aggression, octagon control, total strikes landed, and damage were all in favor of Shogun. I call BS on the decision.

I don't know. I just watched it with the volume off (no commentator influence). I didn't look like a win to me. I would have scored it a draw. Machida got in plenty of great shots (so did shogun); but Shogun never had him even close to beat.

and what is with Shogun throwing his arms wide, spread-eagle so much? I suppose it was to maintain his balance but I can't help but think that in a rematch Machida will have trained for that and look at it as an opening....

^ I watched it with sound off too and Shogun still won it. He won more of the exchanges, he dictated the pace of the fight, he landed the more meaningful strikes, and did more damage overall. Shogun was robbed.

Dana White has already announced an immediate rematch so we can watch shogun beat Machida 2x.
