This is an important video because one of the biggest European bank heads tells it like it is and what's happened and what's going to happen! This is a very thought provoking 45 min discussion video for those looking to expand their worldview and understanding of what's really going on economically.

Inflation, then deflation, then confiscation.

eta: The whole video is good but the specific admissions are by the first speaker Oswald Gruebel within the first 10 minutes from the 5 minute mark to the 7 minute mark. The whole video deserves a watch though. These are the "elites" of finance and media talking frankly about what's going on. Vid is from 2011.

Which one of these guys talks about this? Can you point me to that point in the video? I don't have 45 minutes right now.

I've watched 20 minutes of the video, and I haven't seen anything yet along the lines you suggest.

I guess you don't get enlightened or get to expand your worldview unless you watch the whole thing. I'm just in a bad mood today, but this is one of the things that pisses me off the most about RPFs. People post these really long videos, prefaced by a thread title that gets people expecting one thing, then if you actually watch the whole thing, you get sorely disappointed MOST of the time.

Not everyone here has 45 minutes to watch something that may or may not interest them. A reference to a point in time in the video is so helpful in instances like this. I'm not calling you out Devil, please don't take it that way, but I don't even watch videos posted here anymore because I've been burned too many times and wasted way too much time looking for things that were never there to begin with.

I haven't watched this, so again, Devil, this is no reflection on you or this post.

End/Derail.

Well 6 minutes in he says that the banks along with the politicians engineered the financial crisis, but the politicians managed to shift all of the blame to the banks. If you want a "sound bite" there ya go. But it's probably worth listening to the whole thing. (I haven't yet). I've seen multiple times where people say "Just show me where the good part is" when there isn't a good "part" but a continuum of important points that build on each other.

Did you start with the last 20 minutes?

The whole video is good but the specific admissions are by the first speaker Oswald Gruebels within the first 10 minutes of the video, from the 5 minute mark to the 7 minute mark.

That was much better than anything you see on Sunday morning shows, thank you for posting that.
