Instead of going around on here and elsewhere making negative comments and bringing others down too, please, please watch this video and think about how it might apply to our current situation. This is one of my favorite videos regarding political strategy of all time. Incidentally, it makes me think of Rand Paul moreso than his father and if you watch and pay attention you should see why.

Also remember what Doug Wead said to supporters yesterday: Ron Paul is not out, he is UP!

One hour and 23 minutes. Are you kidding? I have no time for that.

No, I'm not kidding.

This is one of my favorite videos regarding political strategy of all time. It will completely change the way you think about political strategy.

Yeah, we need to keep positive.

However, this is a R3volution, and it's not just about Ron Paul.

LOL - it is really a great video so when you get some time give it a listen. I get a bit of a different message from it. I get that we need to each as individuals increase our personal power by assuming influential roles in our communities, rather then just supporting some politician hundreds of miles away in his attempt to replace another politician.

I don't know what is going on with Jesse Benton or the campaign exactly. I just don't want a potentially successful campaign or successes that could come through the campaign to be brought down by the negativity of supporters who haven't been clued in yet.

The video I posted should be watched and understood by every single person in this movement. It is really that important.

Agreed.

The message is to become the system at every level so it can be broken down from the top and maintained at the bottom where voluntary community systems are in place. Ignoring the rulers at the top who steal half your shit is not the solution.

I mean, I could be wrong. Maybe Tom Woods is right and Benton has screwed up a bunch of things and he should be replaced. But I don't see how going around being really negative and complaining to the rest of the movement is going to solve that, it seems like it would simply do more damage to the movement.

Let Ron Paul and Doug Wead handle it, they've made some great accomplishments so far.

Ding, ding, ding we have a winner!

People always get the government they deserve.

We have as a nation become too complacent and too dependent. Everyone moans and groans about the state of our country, yet so few people actually do anything about it. Too many people want someone else to fix the countries problems, someone else to fix the economy, someone else to do it for us. Shoot, even in the grassroots some people say well if Ron Paul is president he will save this country. RP is the only one. BS. RP can show people the way, but every individual has to do their part. Every one of us can become a Ron Paul in our own way.

When we do that we will finally deserve a government based on liberty and we will have it.

The beautiful thing is that I see this happening, more liberty folks are becoming involved, taking a stand, making a difference, finding out they can make real change at their states, counties, etc.

wtf does "he's not out he's up" even mean.

It means the campaign has isolated what exactly it will take for a positive end result and is focusing everything only on what will continue to give them positive results that could potentially lead to an interesting RNC.

I don't have time to read it now, but I'm leaving this here so I can get it tomorrow.

I second this. Especially since we know the media watches this site. If we present a solid front "Whatever. I'm not backing down. RON PAUL 2012!" it sends a better message to the media. It ain't over.

I want us to present the same united front ("Whatever. I'm not backing down. RON PAUL 2012!"), but more for the sake of maintaining morale and moving forward. At the same time, I'd rather the media ignored it, because that means Romney's camp will ignore it as well. :D In any case, it's crucial that we move forward with or without the nomination, so we can keep the GOP leadership from locking down the rules and turning everything into a winner-take-all, bound-delegate primary in 2016.

Anyway, good thread. I'm not sure what to think about G. Edward Griffin - others in the past have considered him controlled opposition - but you'll know them by their fruits I guess, and I consider that video to be some tasty fruit.

Dannno the proof of this video and if the Ron Paul Nation believes will play out Thursday, with the Rise for Liberty Money Bomb.

There cannot be a better barometer of where the movement is and what it thinks of these stunning developments.

Will people open their wallets for Ron Paul's Campaign after the events of the last 48 hours or keep them shut. The answer will tell all you need to know of where the RP Grassroots stands!!!

It will be a profound Thursday!!!
