you should not only send it but pay pr web 150 and get the package and it will pay for itself. I am sure if you made a chipin , folks would help you fill it. A Press Release pays for itself in legit coverage. Try it ;) You will see:) I promise you it pays for itself.

That's cool that this is catching on. When I signed it was 3,300 but now it's over 5,000. Keep it going.

My question is, what power does a Change.org petition actually have? Just wondering if anybody knows. Another question..if you sign this and you're not a registered voter in Texas, does your signature mean anything?

Not trying to be cynical, just wondering.

It has the power of the signatures behind the petition. The more people supporting it the more power it has.

In terms of 'legal' or 'definite' power, however, it has none. Even if it was able to get millions of signatures Romney would not be forced into debating. Obviously the more signatures obtained the worse it would be for Romney to decline.

In all honesty I don't think it would be rational for Romney to enter another debate. This is for a few reasons, but mainly because it is a lose-lose for Romney. If he goes in and gets wiped out by Paul, well then the negative ramifications are obvious. But even if he does alright or wins he'd still look weak for debating in the primary when as far as the media/GOP/Democrats/Obama and Romney Teams are concerned the General has already begun. Ignoring even over ten thousand signatures is not at all difficult for Romeny

I wouldn't debate if I were Romney. There would be a few passionate Republicans who are outraged by it, but the majority of Americans wouldn't even blink if he just ignored 10,000+ signatures.

It's sad, but I still have faith we can force this thing into a brokered convention whether we debate or not.

A friend of mine who is a producer for CBS just let me know...

Mitt and Ann Romney on CBS This Morning tomorrow, Tuesday, May 1. They will be live together in Studio 57 at 740am ET.

I requested to have the question asked if he plans on participating in the debate in Houston Texas on May 24th. We will see!

If Romney does not want to participate why not have a televised open forum between Texas voters and Ron Paul for 2 hours. Let the people of Texas have their voices heard. Push that to the Texas GOP.

that sounds fair. Romney can join if he likes.

Great idea! Give public invite to Romney to attend & debate--if Romney declines, that sends a message to voters too.

Texas is backing up Chelsea's 'go to' Texas spirit, and I think I will, as well.

Just because.
