So if our Voter Registration were linked to a phone number, then we could have elections on just about any topic at any level of government. And a politician could promise to vote exactly as the majority of his participating constituents direct him/her to. Might be a potential political approach. Have no platform at all, but just promise to carry out the wishes of your participating constituents. Of course, you would have to go against the Constitution if your constituents directed that. And that would violate your oath of office.

Definately doing this. A lot of TXans are going with Ted Cruz for Senate, but I'm a big Glenn Addison fan...Lela Pittenger has a very nice platform too.

I love Glen Addison. first time I heard him speak was on our local am station on a Sat morning. Sat in the car at the grocery store for about 10 minutes to hear the full interview. Sounded like he had the same views as Ron Paul. I went home and checked out his website and sure enough he does. I'ts toned down a bit for his website but he is very constitutional and he only wants to serve one term.
