Did you notice the one time where it looked like Rand touched a pancake with his hand (although the actual touching, if it occured, was obscured).

Can't you just see the Grayson ad: Do you want someone who touches your pancakes? If not, then vote Grayson for Senate.

Given that it shows that Rand Paul is more than just a politician like Grayson, in that he still volunteers his time for charity, I don't see how else the Grayson campaign can use the footage.

They're probably just filming his every public appearance in the hope that he slips up and says something he shouldn't, so then they can get it on the news.

The spooky stalker guy is basically there to capture any little mistake that Rand makes. Looking at someone the wrong way, acting the wrong way, slipping and falling. He's there as a form of intimidation. A way to counter him is if someone from the grassroots stood directly in front of him with a video camera. Of course nobody from the Rand Paul campaign would stoop to such dirty tactics. But passionate grassroots activists cannot be controlled.
