Turkish troops and armored vehicles amassing at Syrian border

I was looking for a relevant picture, but I'll just post this:

That's a very tiny movement of equipment, and unlikely indicative of anything larger.

I think before comment, you should the news;

Turkey: Jet 'downed by Syria in international airspace'

Turkey's foreign minister has said the fighter jet shot down by Syrian air defence forces on Friday was in international airspace when it was hit.

Ahmet Davutoglu said the unarmed plane was not on a secret mission related to Syria, but had mistakenly entered Syrian airspace before the incident. Syria maintains that it engaged the aircraft in its airspace "according to the laws that govern such situations". The Turkish and Syrian navies are still searching for the two crew members.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is meeting the leaders of the three other parties in parliament to discuss how to respond.

Turkey had also called a meeting of Nato member states on Tuesday.

That's why Turkish troops and armored vehicles amassing at Syrian border. It's self-defence. Turkey doesn't want war but Asad attack to both people that want freedom-democracy in Syria and Turkish army.

The photo was sensible 10 years ago but now it's not. Turkey is partner with US in Middle East but actually the partnership is so-called. In 2003 Although US (George W. Bush) wanted, Turkey didn't attack to Iraq. Although US has pressed Turkey for crusading in Afghanistan for years, Turkey stay out of shooting-war. Also, Turkey is clearly pro-Palestine, as you know side of US. I can give more evidence. So, the photo reflects old paradigm.

Turkey take action against Asad and his regime because Asad massacres people of Syria (and attacks to Turkey). Asad's father did, too; "Hama massacre" (1982)

I respect your opinion as "US shouldn't butt in on Middle East or anywhere out of US" but ignoring massacres in Syria and dictatorship is remorselessness.

Solid logic Istanbul....... I think we should also parade in to North Korea right away! Don't you? Screw it, let's also just waltz on in to Sudan, Zimbabwe and every where else in Africa there are dictators, massacres & atrocities going on daily, that's a lot of freakin places we could just have an absolute blast in fixing everything up just perfect in like 2 seconds! Sounds like a blast! And why stop there? Let's just run train all over Asia and the middle east wherever we want! I hear there's a couple places that bad stuff still goes on at around those parts.... You sound utterly ridiculous, and your argument is just atrocious. lack of honest critical thinking, personal bias, & massive cognitive dissonance... 3 of the worlds biggest problems today IMO.

I don't see where Istanbul said America should go into Syria. What's annoying is people on this forum believe if you don't like the Assad regime and think it's murderous and unjust, that you automatically think America should invade Syria. Turkey can do as it pleases, especially if they feel Syria is trying to threaten them, but this rhetoric that poor poor Assad is having his country taken over by US armed puppets, poor him, I think is an injustice to the tens of thousands of people slaughtered not only in this conflict but also as Istanbul pointed out, in the 80s by Assads father. People who deny the Syrian people are uprising, are delusional.

I heard a rumor yesterday a Syrian General and a few hundred troops were defecting to Turkey ...

International Business Times: Syria Vs. NATO: A Breakdown Of Forces

Snip
With heated talk of foreign military intervention in Syria rising, it makes sense to take time for a calm comparison of the forces arrayed against one another in the Middle East. After all, the process of determining the future of the country is drawing interest from numerous, heavily armed powers, both within the region and without.

Before the opening of any hostilities against Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad's regime, we would likely see the United Nations withdraw its 300 observers from the country, Russia's possible removal of its marines and three ships from the port of Tartus, and large-scale force movements in Iraq, Turkey, and the Mediterranean Sea -- none of which has occurred so far.

You don't try to think and understand what I say. Did I say that "US should rescue people of Syria, go into Syria and kick Asad's ass"? No, US has only given pain, deaths, war and unsteadiness to Middle East so nobody wants anything from your country.

However, Turkey should go into Syria. Like I said before Syria is a serious threat for the territory. You can say "it's none of your business" because you don't know relationship between people of Syria and Turkey. You don't know Ottoman and other things(like sociopolitical agents) here. Also Turkey's aircraft shot down by Syria. Can you understand? If an aircraft of US shot down by Cuba, what would US do? Do you know that Israel waged war for two soldier who was abducted?

And unfortunately, as far as I can see you have the 3 problems.
