Tucker Now

I thought it was a nice segment. Despite a few digs about Ron being wacky, everyone involved in the discussion made it clear that they like and Respect him, and that his support is very real. Except Tucker's goofy comment about the "6,000" supporters.

Good that he's being covered, but it's just so-so. This piece epitomizes one of the biggest hurdles right now which is, namely, gainng acceptance by the gatekeepers.

"It's 6,000 cranks sitting at home..." Translation: "I guess there are more "of them" out there, than we thought--but not really that many more, anyway"

"It's heartwarming..." ...even though he and the supporters are completely irrelevant.

"...I don't think ALL of his supporters are crazy..." [emphasis added]

But these people are groupthinking sheep--you can see how they look to each other for their cue. That's why the Rachel Dratch chick threw in the obligatory "equally wacky" comment.

But this also means they're capable of completely changing their tune en masse.

But would somebody please slap that Rachel Dratch chick. (Tucker too, for just being an idiot).

I think that when anyone gets on national TV and has to clarify "I am not a Ron Paul supporter" before saying many good things about him indicates a very fickle sentiment. I also think it may be a good indicator of a lot of "closet" Paulites that would never admit they are for the guy but would strongly consider pulling the lever for him in the voting booth.

Tucker was having a brain fart. But the chick from WaPo was really good, the other one not as good.

Maybe she's just jealous of that nice bouquet that Laura Ingraham got. LOL.
